I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to recognize an exceptional nurse, Attah, who cared for me during my three day hospital stay. From the moment he became my nurse, he made an incredibly difficult and painful experience so much more manageable. His bedside manner is outstanding. He is compassionate, patient, professional, and genuinely cares about his patients. He took the time to explain every procedure, kept me informed about what was happening, answered all of my questions, and always made sure I felt comfortable and at ease. At one point, I was so overwhelmed that I wanted to leave the hospital without completing the recommended testing. Attah took the time to listen to my concerns, patiently answered my questions, and helped me feel comfortable enough to move forward with the tests my care team recommended. His calm presence and reassuring approach made all the difference during a very stressful moment. What impressed me most was his ability to help me relax during such a difficult time. Even though I was in the hospital dealing with a painful situation, his knowledge, professionalism, and genuine compassion gave me confidence that I was in good hands. There were even moments when I found myself feeling genuinely at ease because of the way he cared for me. Healthcare needs more professionals like Attah. His dedication, kindness, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care deserve to be recognized. Thank you, Attah, for making one of the hardest experiences I have had so much easier to get through. I went here. My mom had surgery and the nurses were very nice. They took care of us. Let us know everything and they had everything under order and just such an amazing way to treat us. I would definitely recommend.

I know each person has their own individual experience. When it comes to healthcare and seeing doctors, some are good, some are bad. Well, I experienced the good side of service. Yesterday, at Virginia Hospital Center, I had an in-and-out procedure, and from the time I walked in until the time I left, every individual that came across my path was pleasant, and I enjoyed my experience while I was there. My doctor was amazing. From the anesthesiologists to the nurses, everyone was pleasant. The front desk lady at check-in was also awesome. I'd have to say, if I do have to come back, which I hope I never do, I hope I can get the same service that I received yesterday. 😊 #Healthcare #Experience #Doctors #Nurses #Hospital

A+ Nurses! My experience at VHC was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone I encountered—from the ER staff to the doctors, nurses, technicians, food service team, and housekeeping staff—was incredibly kind, attentive, and compassionate. The nurses were truly the best I’ve ever had. They made me feel safe, listened to my concerns, and treated me with genuine care during a very difficult time. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well cared for. Thank you to everyone at VHC for your professionalism, compassion, and dedication. I am so grateful for the outstanding care I received.

The doctors and nurses truly care for their patients and it shows. It was such a pleasant surprise to be met with such empathy and compassion at a time of severe vulnerability. I will never forget their kindness. I want to specifically mention the Women’s and Infant Unit, along with the Behavioral Health Unit. Thank you doctors, nurses, and staff for working so hard and keeping the world running. You all are truly appreciated. The infrastructure at this location is also a plus, very new, many different units, a food court, accessible by public transit, and more. Additional points for diversity in the staff which I was very happy to see! Carefully thought out with patient and family comfort as a priority. Thank you.
